Couture meets Coke...

An unusual collaboration to say the least. Or so I thought. Diet Coke's new European Creative Director Jean Paul Gaultier, is actually following in the footsteps of several other fashion designers: Karl Lagerfeld, DVF, Gianfranco Ferrè, Marni, Roberto Cavalli and Matthew Williamson, who have also designed bottles for Diet Coke. JPG however, seems to have gone a step further with his very different video advertising campaign. A little bit creepy... but I think it's brilliant.

The Fear.

Summertime = Bikini. Bikini = Frantic planning of impossible fitness regime. The last time I dragged myself out of bed and jogged pathetically around the block, was 7 months ago, every morning for an ENTIRE week. Impressive I know. One week followed by one week eating, drinking and sunbathing in Cyprus. Fail. This year, however, will be different. The 'bikini fear' has hit me hard already. That's what happens when someone you know books a holiday to Cape Verde in April. Tomorrow, I will run. And I will keep running until I beat the fear. Or at least until I beat my PB of one week anyway.

I'd like to introduce you to Pedro and Penelope. Beautiful couple. Horribly in love. Being mannequins they find it a little difficult to dress themselves, so I help them out from time to time. This a photo of them on Valentines Day this year, I chose a cutesy rosebud print blouse and cropped jersey jacket for her, and he's looking dapper in chinos and shiny shoes. I like to think they come to life when the lights go out.

Vans...for her.

I haven't slipped my feet into a pair of Vans since my Avril Lavigne phase a few thousand years ago. However...check out these beauties!! Somebody buy me them before the hideously chunky sole grows back.
